just rambling
Ah, the weekend is almost here. I have to work this weekend, but at least it's supposed to be sunny and warm. It's been raining here all day, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow also. I don't think our basement is ever going to dry out. We have a dehumidifier that works very well, but won't do much about standing water. *sigh* For now I guess I'll just have to suck it up, keep sweeping water, and hope for drier weather.
So we're looking at buying a house in the next year. This is very exciting for me, because we'll finally have a place that we can do with what we want. Of course, this first house will be a starter, so nothing big or extravagant. It will still be fun, though. I'm looking forward to our money going into buying the house instead of buring it up in rent.
Oh, I bought Sweeny Todd today! I loved it in the theater, and it's still fucking great. We also stopped by Hobby Lobby and got some materials to make a spring wreath for the front door. We still had the holly one up, so it still felt like winter to me.
I've finally recouperated from the past weekend. Sore muscles are relaxed, bruises faded, and splinters pulled. Damn, it was well worth it.
I suppose that's all for now. I'm going to finish reading a chapter and listen to it rain, then head to bed so I can get up early in the morning. I've been doing the morning workout thing, and so far so good. Good night everyone.
