I slept for four hours when I took a nap around noon. Once I woke up, I came online and did the usual. Courtney messaged me and she hasn't been doing well, so she just wanted to get out and do something tonight and I wanted to hang out with her anyways because I enjoy talking with her. We decided to go to the movies, so around 9:20pm I left to pick her up. I was reluctant to notice just how far away she lived, but nevertheless I made it up there just a little bit later than expected. When I got there I really wasn't anticipating her to look as lovely as she did, and being the retard that I am, I got a little jittery cuz I don't have as much confidence as I probably should lol. We showed up at Regal Cinemas a little later than I thought we would, so instead of seeing Bend It Like Beckham, we saw American Wedding. I enjoyed it even more than I did the first time I watched it and that was probably because the company was a little better this time. Last time I had Isaac laying on the hood of my car watching it with me with some trailor trash singing country music and drinking a couple rows of cars behind us. This time I had a beautiful girl sitting next to me, who just so happened to have a rather cute laugh and smelled nice. Sorry Isaac, but it's a big improvement compared to you haha.
After the movie we went through In-N-Out and got some cheeseburgers. On the ride up we talked about a lot of guy and girl relationship stuff, which I'm always interested in cuz it helps me learn from other people's mistakes and achievements, so I can be a better boyfriend to whomever I'm with in the future and I'd know how to deal with similar situations as well. I also enjoy giving advice, but sometimes it's better that someone learns the lesson on their own because it will make them much stronger that way. I felt really comfortable talking to her just like I was on the phone the other night, but I just gotta get used to being around her cuz she's pretty and that's what gives me the jitters. After a few more times of hanging out it will go away though cuz that's just how I've always been.
So yeah, I ended up pulling over on the side of the road shortly after I dropped her off at her house and I just looked up at the stars cuz you can actually see them up there in Alpine. I started thinking about her situation and how it related to some of the past relationships I've been in, and I know exactly where she's coming from so I started to get a little saddened by it all. She deserves something much better than what she's getting so I wanna be there to help her out if she needs it, ya know? Anyways, the rest of the ride down was rather uneventful but I had Josh's DieRadioDie demo to keep me company heh.
In four hours I have to be at Zion medical hospital to see an occupational therapist. I guess what they are going to do is measure a bunch of stuff on my hand, and then probably tear the muscle a little that allows me to move my thumb inward, since it healed too tight and I can't move my thumb outwards fully. During some of the movie it was bugging too and felt like one of my nerves was being pinched, which caused my hand to tingle and it sent a burning sensation throughout my arm. It kind of sucked but it only happened like three times during the whole movie. I figure it's probably because I've been using my hand to do a lot more than I probably should, so it's swelling up around the nerve and giving me these pains. Hopefully tomorrow they'll get that fixed up a bit so I can use it again without all of these damn problems. Oh, and before I forget there is one last thing I must bring up...
This goes out to my partners in crime: There is an item that must be retrieved and returned to it's rightful owner. To do this requires getting into an apartment and extracting the item without being caught in the act.
