I was reminded about how much of a total geek I am yesterday.
I ordered a new planner on Amazon earlier this week. Originally, I was going to make my own and have it printed, but found that the binding I wanted would cost about as much as buying a pre-made planner. So, quirky preferences and obsessive organization methods aside, I searched for a planner I could settle for.
Yes, I say it that way, because I did not expect to find one I really liked. I'm very particular when it comes to my planner. The real nerdiness, however, lies in my reaction to the planner I found. I loved it. It was different than what I had designed on my own and thought I wanted- but I could easily combine my "method" with this planner in a way that I liked even better than my original idea.
GEEK.
Still, I was beyond excited waiting for it to get delivered last night and spent 3 Office episodes filling in schedule, list and goals stuff. Yes, I also measure my time in Office episodes.
And, sadly, I finished up the cream puffs yesterday, and discovered this morning that it's difficult for me to make coffee... before coffee. As in, I need it in my system to be able to successfully complete the process of making coffee. My espresso machine is much more complicated than the Keurig. Better coffee though.
(In case you are interested, the faucet managed to get caught in my sleeve as I went to reach to turn on the water, so the entire bottom of my sleeve was soaked. I am ashamed to admit... this was not the first time this has occurred.)
