The Carnival of Black Hearts
Hey guys, I'm teaming up with some people I know from Lost Zombies (the guys that I'm going to film a zombie movie with later) and working their Halloween carnival.
If you're in Athens, or anywhere near it and love twisted horror and zombies you MUST come! And if you really want to be kick dick, come volunteer and be a zombie with me in the maze!
THE CARNIVALE OF BLACK HEARTS is a variety show based out of Athens. Attractions include carnivale games and prizes; performances by "freaks" and human oddities; and tons of live music! The next show is Saturday, Nov. 1st 2008 in the parking lot behind the Fabulous 40 Watt Club and next to Caledonia and Agora.
HERE IS WHAT YOU ZOMBIES NEED TO KNOW:
One of the main attractions at this season's Carnivale Of Black Hearts is an enormous "voodoo" maze. Mr. Blank would like zombies to operate this attraction. That means manning the booth out front and patrolling the maze itself, scaring adults and helping the kiddies if they get lost or frightened.
Zombies will also be expected to cause random disturbances throughout the day. These disturbances might include roaming the midway in search of brains or distributing candy among the crowd. Zombie pranks and living dead antics are encouraged!
SCHEDULING INFORMATION:
The Carnivale will run in two shifts. The first shift is from 12:00PM-5:00PM; the second shift is from 9:00PM-2:00AM. There's a four hour break between shifts so that volunteers and zombies can eat, drink, or sleep.
I'm working the 12-5pm shift, I'd love to do the night one since well.. its night time, but I'm going to a party that night. Which also reminds me, anyone who wants to come to a Halloween party at my friend Nate's band's practice space, they'll be jamming and there will be kegs and whatnot. It should be lots of fun, starts around 10pm on the 1st. It's the more the merrier kind of thing, I'm bringing James with me already but anyone else who wants to come is welcome to join us =D
