Poems...
Yeah, I don't have much to
write about today. Um, school was just.. normal. We had a French quiz
and I'm happy because David edudie! (David Studied!!) He thinks he did
good. Also.. in Language Arts we had to do this name poem thing, and I
finished my first draft so I'm going to put in here so, yeah, read it
if you want:
My mind often wanders off to my vacation in Mexico
A place of no worries and relaxation,
Diving under the colossal waves and tumbling back to shore,
Eating at the pool snack bar, on a stool submerged in sparkling water,
Laying on the smooth, warm sand and letting the sparkling waves
Ease over my feet and creep onto my legs with a cool rush until
I am tempted to let myself float off in the current into the
Never-tiring flow of the ocean, the rhythmatic up and down, till
Evening comes and I resign to going back to the resort bedroom.
And even then I sometimes sneak out to walk on the
Deserted, moonlit beach
And lean against a coconut tree, trying to capture the beauty, and imprint it in
My mind, and try to save the memory for
Some future rainy day.
