Wow
So I am on my lunch break at my first real legal job! I work for Legal Aid in Williamsburg and am already knee deep in cases. I worked for the public defender in college, but now I have my own office (I wasn't expecting this and oh my I am excited, must get lots of pictures and fun stuff for office.), wear suits every day, and do legal research. I finally feel like a lawyer...except that before I give my opinions to anyone I have to say "This is my opinion, but I am not a lawyer yet, I am a law student, so this is not legal advice..." so I don't get in trouble for impersonating a lawyer. I feel very grown up.
I miss everyone though. I may not be able to get to DC as much as I want to, because of the job. But I love you all and hope to see you several times this summer. Plus, you should all come and visit me! I have a pull out couch and a guest bedroom! Seriously, please come! I will call you all soon
