"Passed out on the overpass
Sunday best and broken glass
Broken down from the bikes and bars
Suspended like spirits over speeding cars
You and me were kings over the parkway tonight
And tonight will go on forever while we
walk around this town like we own the streets
and stay awake through summer like we own the heat
Singing "everybody wake up (wake up) it's time to get down"
(everybody, everybody wake up its time to get down)
And when I pass the bottle back to Pete
on the overpass tonight, I bet we laugh"
That's for Slu. We rule "the heat-is-on."
Wednesday was a good day. Today was a good day. I got to see Kenzie on Wednesday. I got to see her again today. Conclusion: Seeing Kenzie = good day. It's true. Today we went bowling at the AMF because it's Grant's birthday and I was invited to tag along. We played two games. I won the first and Kenzie won the second. I was close on that second one, but I'll give it to her because, well, she did win. Then we played in the arcade for a bit. Kenzie and Sidney were busy playing Dance Dance Revolution while I was busy losing at Tekken 2. Well, I got to the fifth round. I guess that isn't so bad. I beat two girls to the air hockey table; soI played a game of air hockey with Grant. I was victorious. Then the two girls got to play a game. I was planning on playing the winner, but something was jamming the puck return slot and I started playing a game with Sidney while the two girls went to go get some help. [lie]I totally destroyed Sidney in our game. I beat her like 7-0[/lie] (she actually beat me, 7-5.) When we were done we went back to Kenzie's house. I stayed there for about an hour and a half. Then I left for home. It was indeed a great day. Tomorrow promises to be one as well. I'm going to 6:22 with Emily and Kenzie. Then after that we're ringing in the new year at the church's main sanctuary. You may be thinking, "church? On New Year's Eve? Rabble rabble rabble..." Yes. It's a great contrast from how I usually spend my New Years. I used to get drunk and stuff at parties on New Years, but, not anymore. It's definitely a change for the better. Anyway, I have some stuff I need to do.
