and these days just pass me by
holla. haha jp. whats up my homies? well, this week has been pretty chill so far. friday i woke up early (650-7ish) to go down to MV to recruit the little kiddies....(we want YOU to join mt carmel band...imagine the famous uncle sam poster). Yeah...that was fun? haha, the kids learned some schtuff i hope. the only downside? i didnt get to recieve my weekly coffee, effectively throwing my already tired body into a comatose, slightly aggravated stupor, which didnt go over to well with currie. haha, i felt bad for him this week. like every day our class would show up dead or close to it, dark baggies under our eyes. i swear that man ran around like a chicken with his head cut off, trying everything short of a circus to wake us up. well, wasnt ALL our fault. haha, he turned off the lights and subjected us to "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" told by a professional poet guy with cartoon pictures. the poet guy's voice had juuuust the right sleep frequency, so consequently, we all slept and i swear, someone snored... haha
this weekend has been very veeeery lazy and chill. yesterday i got home from school, did homework and practiced (tried), tried to make one of my reeds not a total piece of crap, took a nap (seem to be doing that lately...think im getting old), read (yes...i am a book nerd), and went out on a borders run with ron. haha....he was astonished that books cost so much. where do you think all my money goes? to food or clothes? i think not. lol. on the way back from borders, i picked up marissa and we all kinda kidnapped lily, rented a movie and invaded ron's house. uh...it was fun times, although the movie itself was excruciatingly painful, but, in the same sense, hilarious and so easy to make fun of. fountain? lol. then got home (after driving like a maniac on park village road) and fell asleeeeeeeeeeep.
this morning i woke up and did 2 hours of community service with lily. we basically drove down to the place (WTF?! where are we? omg, there's a sign that says the sycuan indian reservation.....exactly how far have we gone?), and pet cats for 2 hours. it was awesome. like, i dunno, the cats there were so cute! like there was one that had asthma, so when it purred it sounded like a bird, and a bunch of them would just climb up onto your shoulder and just ride around, havin a fun time. there were so many of them, and the time went by fast. i'm happy i went and did it! lol. aaanywho, then i came home at like 2ish (we stopped somewhere to eat), showered (there was cat hair all over my clothes! haha, i felt like i was wearing another jacket...jp. but my dog WAS jealous), and slept till 4. woke up, got ready, and then went to the UCR's chancellors reception at the doubletree. haha, recognized jenna by her voice (who would have thought that could happen?) and found out some useful information. all in all, fuuuuun times.
tomorrow morning i get to drive my dad to the airport. yay for waking up at 5:45! buy new reeds (one is utterly useless...waste of $10....and the other has a giant crack down the frikken center, making it like 20x harder to produce any noice, god forbid that it's soft), study, practice, sleep and perhaps do something. but if not, no harm no foul. i think i just needed a weekend with nothing going on. lol. aaanywho, im gonna get going...i need my beauty rest...hell, i need quite a lot. lol
