Fundraising // still new to LJ
I know, I know its been a while since I've updated
I can't believe its already been a month, so much has gone on, and so much still need to happen. We had the benefits for the transplant in April - Big benefit dinner at the Elm Casino in Tulsa, Huge Garage sale in claremore, && there was an add placed in the claremore news paper about me. - FULL page add one day, then the front page the next! I'll tell you the town of claremore knows who i am now. lol - anyway we did raise sooooo much money for housing, & relocation for during & after the transplant! $$24,000 actually. :) I am so blessed! I can't even express how grateful I am for everyones help. I can't believe how genuine people still are, and how much people still care about a total stranger.
Wednesday we are having another fundraiser through PapaJohns, and Blockbuster :) I'll be sure to update everyone on how that goes.
i'm still new to LJ so if anyone can read this, let me know :) I'm still not sure how to really "search for people. but i'd love to read with others have to write.... Comment and let me knwo if anyone else can read this? Thanks!!
