Doctor: okay matt, what you have is called an acute scafloid fracture. the bone is actually cracked all the way to the other side.

me: okay, so acute meaning small and not serious right?

doc: no, actually in the medical world it means serious and you will probably have to have surgery to have pins and screws put in.

me: oh....okay

doc: haha, im just kiddin. but not really.

he didnt actually say that last part. i added that in there. some of you know what that is from. but the rest of the conversation is true.

how cool is that.
