Oh, the Rockers

Thanksgiving was Thursday. We had it at my house [oh, right, MY house], and my grandma and grandpa, nana and grandpa, aunt Kathy, cousin Chelle, mom, dad, and sisters were there. Plus my sister Jaki's friend Elaine who has been staying here since last Friday and still is. Anyway, after we ate Chelle and I went down the basement and played house for awhile (until we heard the word "pie.") Then everybody started to leave and dad and I got ready to go to ... Survivor Series. Yup, I'm serious. Mr. Troha got the tickets ages ago. Here's who went [a list of my dad's buddies, their sons and sons' friends follows]. As we walked into the Rosemont Horizon, people were selling Survivor Series programs. We all got one. I'll sort of show you where our seats were: [Except I can't show you on here, but it was something like the 14th row]. Anyway, the Series opened up with a 1 on 1 match - just for the people's entertainment. We certainly weren't on the air yet! Well, I won't go into detail about it so this is what you need to know: There were 5 or 6 matches and one of the Rockers slapped my hand. I couldn't tell which one because they ran by so fast. As souvenirs I got a T-shirt and a Hulkamania finger. Well, that was Thanksgiving, folks.

I'd turned 10 a week before Thanksgiving. I almost feel like this counts as my first concert - at least, it was the first big event featuring famous people I'd desperately wanted to attend, and got to go.
