so, what number is it this year for ~CANADA DAY~? i always forget if it isn't a significant number. hurrah to the red and white... as for blue, well we'll keep it in the vestibule for today!
QUOTE OF THE DAY
on geography, american pop singer knowledge of:
"I get to go to lots of overseas places, like Canada."
-louisiana's native britney spears, when asked the best part of being famous.
in other news, i'm all about the spidey. cashed in all my store credit at futureshop and picked up spiderman 2 for the ps2 and have had much fun swinging around NYC and halting random criminals in their mid-theft tracks. another plus is that bruce campbell does all the narration for the game... gotta love elvis himself [go bubba ho-tep] taking ya through the basics.
to continue the "i'm all about spidey" trend, last night i went down to aurora with my friend greg and met up with
_halley_ to go and see spiderman 2. as it was opening night we got our tickets in advance and i'm still surprised at how cheap they were. only $6.42. that's quite cheap considering at most places on discount tuesday we still get jacked [but not off] for about $9. i dun wanna say too much about the movie but i'm happy that bruce campbell had another cameo... and that a chainsaw was in the same film as him again [no, there was no ash cross-over]. my opinion: two huge thumbs up and i think i may have to go see it again at some point in the near future.
as for the rest of my life... well, still no job although i did get hired and fired in under a 36hr period [did you know that there was a right and wrong way to rake dirt? i sure didn't] so i'm still on the look out for employment. once again i'll ask, who needs a temporary cabanna boy?
