Why is it that ticket providers charge you $6.95 just to pick your ticket up from the venue? Does it really cost you $6.95 for you to hand me the ticket across the counter ( Read more... )

I haven't bought the Colbie ticket yet but it was the same with the Pete Murray ticket, and you have to pay by credit card, there's no other way to do it.

Is it ticketmaster? UGH! 'Cause one time I bought Hanson tickets with cash and the fee was a little bit smaller.

Yep Ticketmaster and Tiketek aswell. Stupid thing was it said "choose ticket collection" and it said venue pickup was included in the ticket price, but then when I went to finish the ticket purchase process, they added the $6.95 on top! So it wasn't really included in the advertised price. :s

lol No doubt. I normally go to shows at this one place that's a town over from me... And normally the tickets are only like $12-$15. The only really expensive shows I go to are like Hanson.

They should go to Australia, btw ;).

It depends on where shows are here as to how much you pay for them but it's usually between $60-100. Sometimes if you're a Ticketmaster or Ticketek member then they might do a special price for you [$50] to some shows.

I know I want them to come here but I don't. Just because I know I don't have the money right now.
