All in the Family
So, I was talking to a buddy of mine about how I'm setting landmarks in my family (by graduating high school, going to college, not having a kid by age 19, etc.), and I got to the part about my responsibility to the Zimmerman name. You see, it's very much solely up to me to pass on the Zimmerman name (for our section of the family tree, at least. This picture should help explain :-D
Cliff Jr. is in his 40s, I believe, and single and childless, so it's pretty safe to count him out of the game. Tony Jr. and his wife split up and only had Taz. Plus I'm not sure exactly what Tony Jr's. mental state currently is (i.e. whether or not he's still in a barfight-induced coma...not completely his fault. I think he got jumped), so he's pretty much out, too. So unless Emilee, Kaitlyn, or Taz go all non-traditional and manage to pass the name on, IT'S ALL ON ME. That means I have to get sexin', and fast. Sweetest responsibility ever!
And also, you might have noticed all of the juniors in my family. My great-grandparents Nevel and Millie liked that whole passing the first name on thing. Apparently, so did Cliff, Tony, and even Tony Jr.. Thank Christ that my grandparents weren't into that idea, or I could've ended up Nevel Duane Zimmerman IV. Yuck.
