As much as I am loathe to bring yet more heartache to everyone...
There was an incident yesterday at Kali's hospital. A sick woman wandered in there, even though the doctors swear up and down that she would have had to have a code, and she wasn't wearing any sanitary gear or what-have-you. Kali has no immune system and this woman...basically fucked her.
