023th Shattering * Audio

[He doesn't know what he was expecting out of it, contacting Bernkastel despite having decided to not do it again... It was just an attempt to catch her attention again, become another toy for her so Ange would have a breathing. Whatever he expected, though, it won't happen as the filter breaks the moment he tries to put it up.

The way up to the witch's apartment is a long one, up in the highest floor, she couldn't just live at a more accessible place. Even reaching her had to be a pain and the thought that it'll be a useless trouble doesn't help. But he has to see it himself. He has to check and make sure. When he opens the door of the apartment and finds it so utterly empty and close... He's not sure what to feel. On one part there's relief but on another there's worry... And maybe a bit of sadness, because he has to be that type of idiot and be upset that she left after all. He tells himself it's because that means she's back to where she was before, ready to keep torturing and playing with others and he won't be able to reach her, that's all.

The audio message is done while he sits in the now empty apartment, thinking what to do.]

For those that knew her, Bernkastel is no longer in Luceti. I'll let each of you decide what you think of that.

[If it's something to celebrate or not. He's currently still torn about that.]

Ange, let's meet. We have to talk.

[This turn of events changes nothing. She may have left but she may return and he's not taking any risks. He pauses for a while, staring blankly at the journal wondering what to say, wondering if he should say anything else, if he has anything else to say. Eventually he adds.]

Anyone wants to hang around? It has been a while since I did that.
