Being paid to protect another? This is new. I feel like a mercenary instead of a warrior. Then again, no one places food on my table. Hard to place a price on pride around here.

I'll keep that in mind. When I ask myself why I'm bothering to look after some. A lot of money, not that much honor.

..Ascanius's a bright child. Can't hardly sit still, Creusa has a load of problems watching over him. Wants to be warrior.. like me, like half our kids, I guess. But he's brighter than most. He'd be a good one. An honorable man.
