I'm a bit lost. Is Narvin still a Warden or not? Because there's talk of limiting his communication, and last I checked, we don't do that to Wardens.

I'm kinda missin' the problem here. From what I've gathered, and feel free ta correct me if I'm wrong, a warden tried to help an inmate steal somethin' ta get off the Barge. There are plenty'a worse punishments we could be givin' either of 'em, and frankly? I don't see what the big deal is. It's not like someone's gonna be followin' Narvin around makin' sure he doesn't talk with him or lockin' him in a room or takin' away his journal entirely so he can't communicate with anyone.

The principle of the thing? This isn't some kinda vacation cruise around the universe or whatever, Spike. We're here to do a job, and if you've got issues with the rules, maybe you shouldn't be here.

If the choice ever becomes toe the line or get off, I'll be getting off. But as it is, the rules are only barely there and entirely open to me not shutting up. You've got a problem with it, you can get off.

Yeah, but the responsible thing to do would have been contactin' Rassilon's warden and askin' questions ta make sure you had the full story, not posting a general announcement when you don't have all the facts, and aren't personally involved, from the sound of it, especially when you said yourself you don't appreciate it when people tell you howta warden. Treat people the way you'd like to be treated and all that.

This honestly sounds like you've just gotta problem with someone's "free speech" being violated or somethin', and last time I checked? This was a place for people ta get redeemed, not get a pat on the back for stirrin' up trouble.

And even now that I've got all the facts, I haven't changed my mind. Think that wanker Rassilion should get worse than he's getting, but on the free speech thing, my opinion's the same.

I meant we're not supposed ta reward people for stealing stuff and tryin' ta escape. They're both lucky we're not somewhere where an authority figure could do something more serious to 'em.

Again, it's only over journals. People can still carry out private conversations wherever the hell else they want. If someone confiscated both their journals indefinitely, or if they were tryin' ta cut off all their communication, then maybe I'd side with you on the issue.
