Friends

vinkus_witch

Spike likes Elphaba. Though he's read through her files and has a pretty good idea of why she's an inmate, in a lot of cases, he entirely agrees with her actions, or at least with her motive. Still, he's being as good a warden as he can. Mostly, that involves hanging out with her and chatting.

The Inmate

aboutpower

Buffy Summers is the reason Spike is a Warden and not an inmate. When they first met, he wanted to kill her, but he failed miserably and ended up falling in love with her. It was a rocky path, but eventually he earned his soul and her trust. Then he burned up in front of her saving the world, came back from the dead, and didn't call her. Now she's here on the Barge, and things are somewhat awkward. He's still glad she's here.

The Current Flame

82prctmoremanly

Andrew was an enemy, sort of, and now he's a friend, sort of. Spike tolerates him, and deep, deep down sort of likes him. He's never letting Andrew find out either about that or that Buffy's a television show in some worlds. He's also somewhat annoyed that Andrew let slip to Buffy that Spike hadn't come back to her when he'd become solid, and that he'd lied about Buffy and the Immortal.

The Nerd

notarrowette

Spike's not sure if it's weirder that a show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer exists, or that in another universe there's a show called Wendy the Werewolf Stalker. In either case, it's particularly weird that his neighbor on the Barge happens to have acted Tara analogue Luella in the show. Still, Cissie is nice, and also an Olympic Gold Medal archer. Which is just bloody cool.

The Actress

batmanschmatman

Spike mocked Dick's name for a while, then realized that he was the Dick Grayson, sidekick to Batman. That is cool enough for Spike to stop mocking and start asking questions. He finds the "no killing" policy kind of naive in some cases, but Batman's sidekick. Awesome.

The Superhero

mib_agent_k

Spike mistrusts government types by default. Something about some of them sticking a chip in his head. But Kay's consistently proved to be an all around all right guy and drinking buddy. Spike will still mouth off and only follow such orders as he feels like following, but Spike respects him enough that he won't automatically ignore anything that sounds remotely like an order.

The Government Guy

butcherboyaaron

Spike and Aaron met during a port when Spike was doomed to live life as a teenager who couldn't legally drink or smoke. They bonded, and "Roy" told Spike about his supposed multi-personality disorder. Spike wasn't really fooled after Aaron mentioned he was hoping he could plead insane to get off the Barge.

Still, he likes the kid enough not to blow his whole fake disorder for him. For now, at least.

The Headcase

Enemies

rayney_day

Possibly the person on the Barge with whom Spike argues most. They're both vampires, her half human, him with a soul, but she refuses to admit any vampire could be good. Even though Spike does as much heroing as she does and has saved the world several times. Spike doesn't trust other vampires by default, but he's willing to admit to exceptions. Since he is one.

The Racist Vampire

raisedinabox

Profit introduced himself as a warden who'd worked in the IRS. Spike immediately disliked him. Partially because he felt so Wolfram and Hart. He wasn't even a little surprised when it turned out he was actually an inmate.

The Tax Collector

vfranklinmott

The git broke into Spike's room and looked through his stuff. Spike didn't approve.

The Creeper

leadsthestars

Spike has never really talked to Coyo, but the bitch called down a hell of a lot of Aztec warriors and gods, getting Spike and a lot of the people he likes killed. She's on his bad list.

The Goddess

doctor_j_crane

Crane spoke to Drusilla in a way Spike didn't like. Spike made his displeasure known and warned Crane off. Crane assumed Spike was threatening him, which was sort of true, though Spike never actually said anything threatening. Still, he doesn't like Crane, and will be keeping an eye on him in the future.

The Scarecrow.

im_notspecial

Spike has fun trolling him. But really, he doesn't like the guy. He automatically distrusts religious people, and this one seems to more than show why. He's very creepy.

The Zealot

fillyourhand

Not only did this guy start saying people had to call him "Sir," he implied that women couldn't take care of themselves on the Barge. Spike loves his strong ladies. He dislikes Rooster.

The Chauvinist

rass_bestie

Spike hates bloody Time Lords. And this one has cut off a Warden's ability to talk with an inmate. Though it helps a bit that it was because they were his friends, he still doesn't like him or trust him.

The Censor

timesbureaucrat

Though Spike understands that Narvin was manipulated, he still thinks the Time Lord is weak and too easily manipulated. And he doesn't like that Narvin's communication was blocked. He thinks Narvin should have been demoted first.

The Sheep

times_creator

More than the other two Time Lords, Spike dislikes this one. Omega was trying to do his Wardening job. Narvin was manipulated. Rassilon's the one who manipulated him. Agent K told him a bit about what happened, and Rassilon just came off very badly. Spike's just angry at the whole situation.

The Mastermind

sharpememory

It's not often Spike meets someone who absolutely refuses to believe he's a vampire, even when he shows his demonic visage and blatantly doesn't even try to pretend he's anything but a vampire. Barron Sharpe, however, thinks Spike's doing it as a con. This was mildly amusing up until the bastard messed with Buffy's mind. Now Spike hates him.

The Mind Controller

Neutral/Ambivalent

some_kinda_hero

Apparently they were friends during the time Spike was on the Barge before, but Spike doesn't remember. He isn't opposed to being friends again, but the fact is, he doesn't know her. So it's... confusing.

The Forgotten Friend

doctor_scarf

Drusilla's Warden, when she was on the Barge. Spike isn't sure what to think of him, but he doesn't trust bloody Time Lords as a rule. It doesn't help that he absolutely refuses to admit that the difference between souled and unsouled vampires is important..

The Bloke With The Scarf

composite_alpha

Buffy's Inmate. Highly insane. He's got a bunch of people in his brain. Spike found their first conversation very strange and confusing. Another one he'll be watching.

The Nutcase

imaginationlol

Spike thought he was hitting on Buffy at first, but then instead he offered Spike help in trying to win her. Spike didn't accept it, mostly because things with Buffy are a little more confusing than he felt like explaining.

Possibly a Poofter

kingfor_aday

Neil seems more religious than Spike's comfortable with, being an unholy creature like he is, but the two of them bonded over dying heroically and being fictional somewhere, and Neil complimented Spike on his soul-getting, so Spike thinks more or less fondly of him.

The Dead Hero

equalsfive

Spike mostly just enjoys trolling O'Brien. The masochist in him almost wishes O'Brien had access to his various torture methods, just so he could prove he wouldn't break no matter what they did.
