Because I'm super nice. And a pig. I decided to share with you my alfredo sauce. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but it's pretty amazing tasting. It took me 982130 tries to come up with one I thought that tasted good, so I'll share with you all.
SERVES 4-6 Ingredients
1/2 c. sweet butter
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. parmesan cheese (i always use a bit more)
3/4 c. mozzarella cheese (again, i always use more)
salt and pepper to taste
1 box of linguine pasta
Directions
1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium/low heat.
2. Add the garlic, cream, pepper and salt, and bring mixture to a simmer. Be patient it takes 10-12 minutes, even more at times.
3. Stir often, don't let it stick to the bottom!
4. Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and smooth.
5. Cook the noodles, I usually cook them to the directions on the box. And salt to the water, of course.
6. When sauce has thickened add the mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. STIR
7. Enjoy :]
