You have a lot on your plate but I'm sure you can do it.

Weirdly your hero's boast comment made me realize that I equate boasting of that sort as an after the event thing to get rewards and cookies; and before as 'nerving up' if it's to gain courage and I don't think of it as boasting at all. Boasting implies false ego to impress others to me.

I think a lot of people see it that way. I think the term as I use it here is kind of a classical concept, a way we quantify certain literary tropes. But I'm glad you get where I'm coming from!
