I just got a small part-time job, as Associate Producer of Zero Point Theater, a professional theater in Boston. I auditioned there recently and even though I didn't get a role, I got a very positive response (both to my audition and my theater resume) so when I saw an ad for this position I thought maybe I should apply. It's basically assisting the head of the group, a very cool gentleman by the name of Emil Kreymer, with administrative tasks for a few hours a week. A little extra cash right now is welcome, but I am interested in learning the business of making theater in the real world. I think I can learn a lot from Mr. Kreymer, who seems to have a lot of experience and know lots of people, and I think it would be good for me if I want to have a real future in the theater world. And hey, if I'm going to need a day job (or multiple day jobs) one in the business might be better for me in the long run. We'll see how this goes!
