Oh, thank you! This is beautiful, not to mention I've always loved fic from Mrs. Pevensie's perspective post-LWW. And I don't mind the Peter/Susan at all, it's kind of part of my personal Narnia canon now, almost.

You're very welcome! I'm glad you liked it. I've been interested in her reaction post-LWW ever since I ran into a fic over at ff.net dealing with that, and when I saw your prompt, I jumped at the chance to write it.

And I don't mind the Peter/Susan at all, it's kind of part of my personal Narnia canon now, almost.

Same here. I had already written the fic by the time I remembered that it's not some people's cup of tea.

This is fantastic. It's so heartbreaking and sad, and I've wondered a hundred times how their mother must have felt to have her children come back to her all changed and closed in around each other's presence so it's a joy to read this. Thank you for writing it!

(This is random, but your format for your fic masterlist is the prettiest and neatest one I've seen, and I wonder if I can borrow it to use in my private journal in a fanfiction rec list? I'll link back to you, of course!)

(In regards to using the format for my masterlist, go right ahead! I've tinkered with it quite a bit over the years before I reached that result, so the fact that someone thinks it pretty enough to use as their own is really quite flattering.)
