Q U O T A B L E - Q U O T E S
So, last year I introduced a friend's friend to Breaking Bad. I barely knew this guy myself, but we got to chatting and I learned that he'd never watched a single episode of the show and I simply knew I had to be the one to rectify this. I lent him all my DVDs and over the course of about a month, I like to think that I completely changed his life. I certainly gained a friend, so win/win. You know what else happened? We discovered it has become physically impossible for the two of us to interact (which we do regularly now) without ending our sentences like so, "..., bitch." It may not even make sense in the context of the conversation, but that's just how we roll these days. We blame Jesse Pinkman for it and have no regrets.
What are your favourite pieces of dialogue? Do you like the serious stuff? The speeches? The one-liners? The ridiculous... "yeah, where the cows live." Are there any lines you now find yourself using in real-life conversations? And, better yet, have you ever snuck a quote into a conversation and had someone recognise it?! I've done it with "my own private domicile," and had two people pick it up. IT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY YEAR, NGL.
