So, Christmas was quite okay.
I went to my papa's house and the amount of food was ridiculous. There was a turkey, a ham, squash, mashed sweet potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, green beans, broccoli casserole, gravy, two kinds of stuffing, corn, and I'm sure there were other things I'm forgetting. I have to say, the spread was pretty amazing this year. I tried the brussels sprouts and I have to say... they were actually pretty good. I mean, I don't see why people hate them so much.
I got a whole shit ton of gift certificates (I plan on buying clothes that actually fit me!), a pair of fuzzy socks, shampoo, a bracelet, and a lava lamp.
All in all, it was pretty good.
Although I do have to say: 16 strongly opinionated Portuguese + one room + yankee swap + questionable rules on gameplay = death and destruction.
No, really, after we all fought it out, it turned out really fun.
