New start
I didn't announce it earlier, but for those who don't know, I've moved into one of the new flats. No, Parvati and I didn't have a fight or anything like that, but I wanted my own place and the pool is going to be good for ongoing physical therapy. So I moved into flat 4C today and it's lovely. If anyone wants to come and see the new place, maybe tomorrow before the beach party to celebrate the building's opening, then let me know, I'd be happy to show it off! And even if you're not interested, I hope to see you all at the party anyway!
It's likely I'll advertise for a flatmate soon, just to ease the rental pressure, but at the moment it is nice to have a space all my own and know I could dance naked round the flat if I wanted to (with the curtains drawn!) and there's no one in the flat to worry about.
So far the only downside here are two extremely obnoxious children who, thankfully don't live next door or above, are likely the most ill-mannered brats I've met. Luckily the good old prefect glare shuts them up effectively, or at least long enough for me to get out of earshot.
