I finally saw the Dark Knight. Let me just say...DISAPPOINTING.
The bark was definitely worse than it's bite. How sad - Christian Bale is ugly, and awkward as...the batman.
Maybe I was bias because I never really liked Batman? No, but I still was expecting it to be this hugely epic gargantuan revelation-esqu film, and it was nothing close. Heath Ledger though, I can see how he could become absorbed and depressed in his role. He was good. Annndd that's where the positive thoughts stopped.
Christian Bale failed with his Darth Vader batman voice.
Maggie Gylenhaal failed because she looks old and apparently can't be in love with anyone but herself.
Aaron Eckhart failed because he only had half a face. And that's disturbing. And impossible.
Morgan Freeman was okay, but he still fails because he wasn't acting - "Morgan Freeman as Himself."
Yikes. I wish I culd tell you some of the story, but there wasn't one. There wasn't even any dialogue.
Just, "Why so serious?" and "BOOM", "CRASH", "THWACK!" Ew.
Oh yeah, in reference to my last post...how did Coyotes ever get translated into being pronounced as "KY-OAT-EES?" I mean, it's obviously spelled in a way that would make you think it would be, "COH-YO-TEES"
or "COY-OATS." It doesn't even follow our very flimsy English rules. Did you ever think about that? Hmmm.
Whatever. Maybe I will go around speaking with a Mexican accent from now on so no one can ever say anything about why the words I say are not in line with the way they are spelled.
Or maybe I'll just say, "Why so serious?" Shivers.
