It is finished.
We made it through another whirlwind cantata!
I basically died over the weekend. No literally. I lost my voice. Hahah I had a solo, and I pretty much had no voice. It was bad. I tried every known remedy ever invented. It was fine though. By the LAST performace I had figured out how to manipulate the sound so that it sounded like I was supposed to have this breathy, quasi-arial voice. Hahaha it was fun - nerve racking - but absolutely the most memorable event of my year.
There was this kind of sad tone to the whole thing though because my friends and I have been doing choir since we were old enough to, and now this was the last one we will probably EVER do all together. =[
It's sad because it went by so fast...and now it's gone and we'll never be there again. Jeez 2009 will be really hard!
2009...I don't even want to think about it. It was decided we would spend New Year's Eve with the Robbins.
Exactly like last year. Hmmm...we'll see how it goes.
There are also a million and one Christmas parties we get to attend this year. I am kind of excited!
Well, that's all for now. I am still kind of jet lagged from the whole thing. It was 3 days but felt more like one really long day!
