01. Compose a list of YOUR top ten sexiest famous men (so I'm gonna narrow it to people who are alive).
02. Collect a picture of each guy on your list.
03. Post them in your journal.
04. Tag five people to do the same. (Just do it if you feel like it!)
Honorable Mentions:
♥ Ewan McGregor (needs to make another good movie soon, it's been a pretty bad streak since like Moulin Rouge)
♥ Joaquin Phoenix (is he still in acting retirement?)
♥ Daniel Day-Lewis (make more movies but not with Rob Marshall)
♥ Jeremy Renner (curious to see how he'll handle his post-Oscar nod career)
♥ Robert Downey Jr. (would like to see more non-franchise work from him soon)
♥ Christoph Waltz (I went with Fassy from IB but I've fangirled over Waltz a lot already)
♥ Jude Law (my favorite man-whore)
♥ Matthew Goode
(+) A Single Man, Match Point and his sexy accent.
(-) Chasing Liberty and Leap Year (WHY!!!!!????).
♥ Edward Norton
(+) A slew of good movies in the 90s and early 2000s (Primal Fear, Fight Club, AHX, etc) , two Oscar noms before the age of 30 and being the saving grace in Kingdom of Heaven (seriously, he shows more expressions than Orlando Bloom and he's wearing a mask the whole time).
(-) The Incredible Hulk (why did they think this needed a reboot?). Needs to do another good movie ASAP and win an Oscar.
♥ Christian Bale
(+) Empire of the Sun, Little Women, Newsies (yes, I actually like this movie), American Psycho, 3:10 to Yuma. Oh and that Bat fellow.
(-) Terminator Salvation. Stop doing mindless action movies and get back to the real acting. And his rage issues, I guess.
♥ Joseph Gordon-Levitt
(+) 10 things I hate about you, Brick, Mysterious Skin, (500) Days of Summer and the upcoming Inception (I already know I'll love it).
(-) Cobra Commander. WHY?!!!
♥ John Krasinksi
(+) For being Jim Halpert, the cutest and sweetest guy ever. Also he was so perfect in It's Complicated.
(-) License to Wed (seriously, WTF). It's always Mandy Moore movies that bring them down.
♥ Zachary Quinto
(+) I'm not at all a fan of sci-fi yet I have a huge crush on Spock because of him.
(-) Is Heroes still on? Guess I should be glad I never watched it.
♥ Johnny Depp
(+) Lovable oddball characters like Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands and well, about 80% of his roles.
(-) Needs to show his pretty face more in his movies and wear less crazy make-up (I blame Tim Burton).
♥ James McAvoy
(+) The romantic period dramas and his unparalleled swoop-and-kiss move.
(-) Do we really need a Wanted sequel?
♥ Michael Fassbender
(+) Hunger, Fish Tank (especially for being shirtless a lot) and of course, for playing everyone's favorite film critic Basterd, Archie Hicox (yeah so he screwed up his German and almost ruined the plan, but whatever. He's hot). And of course, he's playing Carl Jung in the upcoming The Talking Cure, which would be 10x more awesome if Col. Landa hadn't dropped out for that Robert Pattinson circus movie.
(-) Not showing up to enough award shows. Why were you not at the Oscars? You're so much better than most of those trashy presenters they invited.
♥ Matt Damon
(+) Umm, everything. Went to Harvard. Wrote an Oscar winning screenplay. He's Jason Fucking Bourne. He started the intelligent action hero trend. And his upcoming projects sound pretty fucking awesome-- True Grit, a Bobby Kennedy biopic and a Liberace movie with Michael Douglas? HELLS YEAH.
(-) Ocean's Twelve... Also, gets nominated for wrong movies. Seriously, snubbed for Talented Mr. Ripley and The Departed but nominated for Invictus?
++ Also, I saw Green Zone. It was sort of entertaining, had some good moments but it was definitely messier than the Bourne films or United 93. The shaky cam wasn't as well-used here as in previous Greengrass films. The actors are all top-notch and my bb!Matt Damon is still smoking hot. However, it's pretty clear that audiences are still not crazy about the middle east war movies, none of which have become box office hits (unless you count Iron Man). Even this movie that was disguised as a Bourne prequel couldn't make $20 million this weekend, which is not good news for a movie with a $100 million budget and a big star. Granted the reviews for Green Zone were mixed, but The Hurt Locker's sky high critics ratings didn't help it much either and its domestic gross just barely squeaked by its production budget.
