Good list! Mine would probably have looked somewhat different but then I haven't seen a lot of the movies on yours. Bright Star would have a high place on mine too though.

Thanks! Yeah, a lot of these are only in limited release so its hard to catch them.

Actually I where I live there are a lot of limited release movies but I haven't had a chance to go lately- combo of too much work and too little $$$. I'll catch them on DVD though

I know that Bright Star had such a BRIEF run.. like if you didn't go within those 2 weeks, it was like done.

I know! I feel like the odds are stacked against non-mainstream releases because on one hand their sucess is largely relient on word of mouth but on the other hand that takes time. Theaters aren't always willing to give it that.

BTW my list this you would definitely include The Young Victoria, Sunshine Cleaning, Dare, and Bright Star which all had extremely limited theatrical runs. And yes I'd include a few mainstream ones too.
