I am REALLY happy Gary got a nomination. I haven't even seen TTSS yet but just on his body of work alone.

I really didn't care for many films nominated this year aside from The Artist and Midnight in Paris so I'm just cheering for The Artist and Gary for all of it.

He really is long overdue for this. But YAY! IT FINALLY HAPPENED.

I really need someone to beat George Clooney this year. I will cry tears of joy if Gary wins but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Ugh, I don't even hate Clooney himself but he doesn't deserve to win or even a nom imo.

And this would be his 2nd acting Oscar. Just no.

OH RIGHT! I totally forgot he won before. Come on.

Yeah, and that one was also undeserved! He only won cause that was the year he had like a million nominations (cause of Syriana AND Good Night and Good Luck), and they had to give him something so he would've leave empty handed.

He isn't even a bad film maker. I've enjoyed most of the films he's made for the most part and he isn't a BAD actor just not an award worthy actor. It's super dumb.

He has some good performances, but none that are worthy of winning an Oscar. I thought he was great in Up in the Air and deserved the nomination, but he definitely should not be a TWO TIME OSCAR WINNER.
