After class me, John, Adam, and Cam played in a river and climbed trees.
I just applied for so many jobs...
I found an ad on craiglist for a gallery/security guard at the BMA. That'd be so much fun!! When I was little my mom read books to me about a girl named katie who got lost in museums and had adventures in the paintings. She always caused so much trouble, but she had so much fun! Since then it's always been a dream to work in a museum (even though I'm pretty sure I won't be able to actually jump into any of the paintings without getting fired). I applied at plaza, too, and with an independent tattoo collective. Hopefully something will work out. On Tuesday Nick is taking me to meet his boss. He works for facilities management (nuhnuh nuhnuh nuhnuh nuhnuh facman) and they need someone for May. the job requires a lot of heavy lifting (Nick said he had to move a fridge with one other person one time) but I think I could manage. It would mostly involve taking out trash and stuff.
Next year Tony's gonna let me come to his classes whenever I want. He also said that he'd critique my work anytime. I think Rex is going to let me keep the copy stand the department bought for me; that'd be cool. It's going to be nice to have support from the MICA community in spite of deferring/dropping out/whatever spin you'd like to put on it.
I've been doing a lot of meticulous tiny drawings lately. Here are two:
