[Accidental Voice] || 01

[Another day, another pair of new feathers falling from the sky. Okay, so it's not that bad of a drop, but still enough to make a rather loud splash as the two fall into the lake. Lucky that they can both swim, isn't it?

Neither is particularly pleased at the situation, of course. Given what they've both come from, who could blame them? But not ( Read more... )

[...is that? It has to be.

Of course, Gilbert's startled to hear those two voices, and together, and has hit the button to reply before he's quite ready.]

Both of...?

[Pause. Oh, wait. Recording.]

Where are you? I'll come find you.

[That is a voice Vincent would know under any circumstance. Mr. Hatter suddenly isn't so important, and Vincent's turned toward the direction he thought the voice came from.]

Gil? Where are you?

It's... the book, it's a device for communicating. Where are you two right now? What's around you?

[Well that's interesting. Vincent looks at the book in Break's arms, now all the more determined to get it back. But Gil's voice isn't coming from that, so he'll walk where he thinks he's hearing Gilbert from.]

A lake. Mr. Hatter and I fell in from the sky. [Vincent laughs quietly, although he's not exactly amused.] Gil, do you have an idea of what's going on here?

[Thanks to Leo, Elliot had seen this exchange over the journals, but there wasn't much to say about it. It was Break and... his brother. Even if they were familiar faces, it didn't matter to him if they were here or not.

Of course, he'll be sitting in the living room of the house whenever they eventually arrive. He's watching the conversations over the journals, but mostly to see which one ends up trying to murder the other first. :|;]

[And Leo will probably standing beside him, watching the journal as well. At the very least, he knows some manners.]

[Sorry boys, bloodshed has been avoided, for now. Gilbert managed to find the pair before they came to blows, and now there they are, in your living room. Gilbert's excused himself in order to hang up their clothes and make something warm to drink, leaving Vincent and Break on their own with the other two.]

Good afternoon Elliot. And Leo. [Vincent nods to each in turn, glad to see them both. Given the events from their own world that Vincent last remembers, he's incredibly curious to find out just what this pair also knows from that time.]

[The walk home was enough to give him a vague and general idea of what's going on in this place, but when Gilbert mentioned the others they would be calling on, he hardly expected it to be yet another Nightray and his servant. Add to that his own suspicions about the boy, sparked at Yura's mansion, and allies were indeed slim. It's enough for him to give a curt and airy nod in their direction, a well-placed smile on his lips.]

So good to see you both again.

[He lets his gaze wander the room, though it's the sounds, the scents, and the vague formless bits of color he can grasp that he really takes in. ]

[Why is it Vincent and not Sharon? Why couldn't it have been Sharon?]

I never imagined wings would suit either of you, really.

[Why everyone's voices keep popping up from his book is anyone's guess, but it's not too different from Eques, he supposes. It's sort of surprising to hear from Oz of all people, but that must mean everything went alright at the mansion, regardless of how they ended up here now.]

No better than your face suits that cheeky tongue of yours.
