Ihave began to run again, and I must say if I keep up my motivation getting to 5 miles three times a week will be no problem.
Last week I was able to run 1.6, while running I had injured my calf, it felt as though there were 8 or 9 small knots in the muscles and that were spasming constantly. I was able to use the elptical for 2 days, and then I rested my leg.
Justin put a cream on my calf to help with break the knots up, however I am allegic to it, and have had a rash for a few days-no fun.
On monday I was able to run 2 miles, then wed I ran 2.4 miles, this morning I ran 3.6 miles, I had to walk the last .4-I was done. I think I will go for 2 tomorrow, then 3 on sunday evening with the running group.
Next week I will run 4 times, working on getting used to running three miles no problem.
Small goals, to a bigger progress. Hopefully I will get to 10 miles before the summer is over, for now that is my goal.
