Daily Show - Florida Mayor TG
Omg, I totally forgot to tell you all - I even forgot it was happening until this afternoon when my roommate came in and reminded me that I had to go or I would hate myself. Horation Sanz and the Kings of Improv, o sea, a comedy troupe with THE Horatio Sanz from SNL and 5 other AMAZING comedians (such as Rob Riggle) came to USC and performed in our tiny little cafe, Ground Zero. It was. great.
The show in itself was not amazing, but they were still pretty damn good and I guess everyone is entitled to be off somenights. But I was just so excited to be there in the room with these people. It was up front and they had these sofas for seats and I was in the second row of sofas and it was so much fun. They brought audience members up to the stage and I would've gone, but I was getting a stupid Chai Latte at the back of the room, so instead one of my roommates friends went up. Omg, I missed Mari SOO, so much and I thought of you half the time and wept a little on the inside every time I laughed because it would have been so perfect if you'd been there!
Anyway, I wanted to get a picture or their autograph or something, but they left and my party left immediately, and I wasn't going to stay all on my own.
Last week I had to interview people off the street for a project and I asked this one guy who asked for my number. I gave it to him because he sounded smart and he was nice looking and I thought 'try something new'. He called today and, we didn't really make any concrete plans, but it looks like we're going out on a date sometime... in the future... he's old though. I mean, he looked like he was in his mid 20's but it turns out he's 30. But if he's a good guy and we get along, that's all that really matters, right?
Anyway, I'll keep you all posted with that!
Um... Ok, I had a Chai Latte and I think the caffeine actually worked on me today, or maybe I got the best sleep I've had since I got here (doubtful, though it wouldn't take much). The point is im restless. Fortunately, I have 370 something pages to read for tomorrow and two scenes to write for Thursday to keep me busy. Yay!... or not.
