Got up to 2,000 words. I'm 3 pages into the Prologue.

This is going to be nice for the 8,000 words due in January.

And this is turning into a pretty cool BtVS fic considering the revamp I'm doing of the entire story and the tiny intricate print that I've started for the outline. <-- I'm crazy, yes.

And I agree! A lot of people are on the outs with their sites because they have real lives (what is that?). It feels like there is a tiny surge going on but not too many of those surges are being seen on the sites. *sad*

I know how you feel. I have amazing ideas, especially for the challenges at BuffyForums but every time I go to make them... I either get lazy/discouraged/annoyed and just give up! lol. Very rarely does a wallpaper come out the way I like it anymore and those are usually the ones that I don't have a plan for. *fail*

LOL! I literally sit down and make a couple at a time. It's usually on Saturday afternoons after the dog's been at the dog park and I just slam out a couple of them. It's that creative spurt that randomly appears out of nowhere and I try to snatch up as much as I can at one time, haha! Other than that, I just don't get on the computer nearly as often as I used to. :( Other than work, but that really really doesn't count, haha.

I can definitely sympathize with that mentality. I am right there with you, I spent almost all of my free time when I was in high school on the computer, just jacking around and doing a shit ton of fandom things. And now it's not as rewarding and I have so many other things going on so I think it's better that I don't spend as much time because when I do, I enjoy it more. It's become more of a quick escape from the craps of life as opposed to an alternate reality. LOL

Ooooooh. I'm off to check it out! And I'm sorry about the job (:(). *hugs* I like to say that things happen for a reason and if that didn't work out, there's a reason for it. Although this is always more difficult to hear when you're actually in the situation so these are kind of empty words, but still. *hugs*

Oh thankies. That's nonsense! :P Yeah, I've tried to make it more of a hobby to get on the computer and make stuff because there's so much material still to be messed around with, haha.

Blegh, I'm sorry. I understand how you feel about your friend though, I've never been the real big partier and because of that I've only had two people I would consider my friends-friends and the rest have been online. I love telling people about them and I'm like, yeah we met online and they automatically think it was something dirty. I get a sick joy out of that because they are much better friends than that, haha

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do on the fanfiction front. I want to rewrite everything because that's exactly it: they're just bad. And the storylines are very good because I wrote on the fly and didn't really outline so some stuff doesn't make sense and the entire plot is somewhat flimsy so it's just a hot mess all in all. And so of course I'm re-writing something that I didn't even really get a chance to get into so it's a little easier

Well, before ANYTHING I have to say GUHHAAAHH to the layout because OMG IT'S FREAKING GORGEOUS AND IT MAKES ME THINK OF OLD SCHOOL BTVS WHEN IT WAS STILL ON AND I'M ALL GIDDY JUST FROM LOOKING AT IT SO... yeah, I really really freaking LOVE it. *lol* I luuuurve it!! The neutral colors are fantastic with the font and just everything is fantastic. I also love that you have just DB sitting right there (and I love that picture. Dude, dude... I love that picture of him... lol) is awesome. I think the focus is fantastic and basically you should just put this up, lol
