Books!

Book update!! Heck yeah, rawkin' it on along. Just got done with The Furies by Fernanda Eberstadt. It was a fantastic book, IMO, but also one of the most depressing books I've ever read. Its realism is so decadent and so powerful, it completely swept me away and made me want more, but hate that I had to read more at the same time. It was... awesome. I'm totally misery's bitch, and this book delivered. Outside of that, it really is a great book, very interesting in the context and where the plot moves you. It didn't feel like there was a resolution, but there was, you know there was. I really liked it, and would recommend it. It took me a minute to get into it, but a few pages in, you've hit the target on where it's going and then the book just flies by.

Books

1. Animal Farm - George Orwell
2. 1984 - George Orwell
3. The Body Artist - Don DeLillo
4. The Crimson Petal and the White - Michel Faber
5. Immortal - Traci L. Slatton
6. The Hatbox Letters - Beth Powning
7. 1906: A Novel - James Dalessandro
8. The Furies - Fernanda Eberstadt

I'm now going to read 26a by Diana Evans.

Most of the books I'm currently waiting to read, outside of my Anne Rice and old school shit (literally, from school, like The Divine Comedy and The Canterbury Tales), I bought for literally $3.00 or less a pop. And they're all great books, at that! I have to find that site where I got them...

And Crush by Cecile de La Baume. I just... can't get into the porn, which is weird. *lol*

Alright, I'm done. A little RL update:

Had a great day, it was odd. I think it helped that I had somewhere to fuel some frustration, which was on this poor new lady in the Fitting Room. It's not that she's bad at her job... she just doesn't get it. I mean, everything literally goes right through one ear and out the other, it's amazing. No focus, whatsoever.

Plus, two weeks vacation time coming up! *woot!* Hopefully - hopefully - that means actual updates will be happening on here because I really have no actual vacation plans... planned. It's just me being away from work, which = awesome.

EDIT!

OMFG!

New Moon STILLS FROM THE SET!! FROM ITALY!! BELLA AND EDWARD! *DIES*!

OMG I HAVE TO ART SOMETHING! *spaz*

ANOTHER EDIT!

OMG! Bald-headed dude, duck the fuck down, your shininess outshines Edward!
