Well I hope everyone is having a lovely break. Steph and Melayne are now in Spain and Germany and I am in full swing doing my intenship. Everyone there is super nice and the lady in charge even took me to lunch today. I am really fortunate for the opportunities I have received. My grades were really excellent, the best I have done in college so far and I have reached a 3.5 acc. g.p.a. Last week was a bit of a sad week for me, I found out that my high school will probably be closing at the end of the year and my great uncle died. He was a really nice man and he had been blind with diabetes for the last 11 years. The only nice part of it was getting to see the side of my family I really like. I found out my cousin is in the National Guard and does not know where he will be sent next. I worry about him, he is two days older than me and seems a bit lost. I wish the best for him. I also have been deeply saddened by the tsumani victims, it makes me cry every single time I see video footage, my prayers are with all them. I am down to about 16 days till I leave for England. I wrote to my future roomie and she seems really nice. She is a junior classics major, english minor at Skidmore. She loves to read and spends a great deal of time on the internet, so we should get along well. Also, I have discovered a new band I love, The Killers from Las Vegas and Muse are nominated for 4 Brit Awards and are going to start on new album which they say will be much happier than Absolution.
