An equation.
This is going to be an interesting summer. Here's the equation:
Me
+ boyfriend, who's a huge kid
+ boyfriend's 14 year old mood box of a son who tends to whine when he's not happy
+ my eight year old smartass know-it-all daughter who has an answer for everything
+ boyfriend's seven year old daughter who has CRS disease and is extremely girly (which I am not)
+ gruff but loveable roommate, who delights in provoking the children (including the adult one) like an evil uncle
/ smallish three bedroom apartment on a second floor
/ only two computers, only one of which plays World of Warcraft
* sibling rivalry
* boyfriend working second shift five or six days a week
= Insanity
I have a distinct feeling I'm going to need copious amounts of either a) alone time or b) alcohol to come out of this with reasonably good mental health and intact china.
