Yea. [Hey man, he's the innocent one here. This time.] Stole it right after battle. Some sort of Skitty-type pokemon of his swiped it. It was my starter, too, the one I got from professor Elm. [Ok. Stole, but it's counts.]

I wasn't aware N had a Skitty. Why not describe the Pokemon better?

A purple cat thing. Not a Meowth or Skitty. Not Kanto or Johto region, either. Looked pretty weak, but it was stealthy.

He acted like he had the right to steal my Pokemon.

That would be a Purrloin. It's a Pokemon native to the Unova region. [and it is pretty weak. :( Even when it evolves, if you don't know how to use it correctly. But he likes his Liepard, so shh.]

With the way you treat your Pokemon, I'm not at all surprised.

Of course. [And Silver switches it to Video to show he's in the park somewhere, his pokemon all out of their pokeballs and relaxing, or in Magnemite and Sneasel's case, scarfing down some hand made pokefood. They look a little better than when he arrived, too.

He's just not saying that he's only doing this so he can get his pokemon back off N..] I'm not heartless.
