Bus 1 Sucks!!!

Nov 23, 2004 23:52

So I got back from tour on Friday night/afternnoon and now I'm in the process of packing to go home tomorrow.

Tour was great, but it was a TON of work.  Seeing as we had 7 performances in 3 days and went to bed at 2am and got up at 6am there wasn't a whole lot of breathing time.  I wouldn't have given it up for anything, though.  It was such a great time!  So many memories were made that I must make a list.

Statesmen Tour 2004 - Top 25 Memories
  • Bus 1 Sucks!
  • Watching the mascot be ripped to piece
  • The Rabbit
  • Muskego's Performing Arts Center (they aren't kidding)
  • The conversation before the Muskego Performance
  • Thompson...  Actually being meaningful...  and causing tears
  • Two standing ovations at Muskego and our Encore
  • Gesu's Reverberation (approximately 5-6 seconds)
  • "Put in a mooovie!"
  • "Let's watch Boat Trip!"
  • "Put in Newsies!"
  • Walking around Milwaukee at 1 in the morning
  • Free Krispy Kremes (All THREE of them)
  • Sassy black woman at McDonalds: "Honey, you need somethin'?"  "Yeah...  My food"  "They ain't got you that yet?!"
  • No "chaperone" on Bus 2
  • The crazy tech. ed. teacher yelling at the guys fighting over the mascot
  • Attempting to fit 63 men onto 3 risers
  • Cramming the elevator so full the door didn't open
  • Sam getting trampled
  • Elevator doors that open before it reaches the floor
  • Attempting to wake up Ray
  • Talking out of our asses due to the lack of rest
  • Katie and our homestay family and Saved!
  • Stephen and Brian coming over to our homestay with their homestay
  • Building bonds stronger than ever  (Including Stephen "flirting" with me all the time.)

I definitely couldn't rank them seeing as they were all toooo good to rank in importance.  I have a hellish week coming up but first I'm going to fucking ENJOY my long weekend at home.  THEN I'll worry about my Sunday rehearsal for Cabaret, 6 page research paper with presentation, 6 or 7 minute speech, town meeting assignment, singing in studio and preparing for Jurys, and random theory tests and quizzes...  Oh yeah...  and our two Christmas concerts on the following Sunday that require a dress rehearsal on Saturday.  After that week of hell...  I'll be home free... Almost.

FINALS!

Whoot!  Time for bed!  See you all soon!  Also...

Happy Belated Birthday Sampsi!

(even though I called you yesterday morning at 12:00)

Night, Statesmen.
