Heh, challenging people into joining.

Don't need to do that for me, you know I'll join this, no way I'd ever miss this.

JUST SAYING, if they are gonna be scaredy cats anyway they have no place in my badass club!!!

I KNEW THAT, OF COURSE, any decent German would join the awesomeness!! I would have teased ya forever if ya hadn't anyway, Fang

That's oddly enough quite true.

And as a very decent German, I'll join~ When is the first meeting? Though just know, I'm also joining the Slytherin Quidditch team, so there might be some times when I might not be able to attend due to practise and all that.

You say oddly like I'm not always right!!!

Shit, I have to figure that out with Beatrix and stuff, but I'll be sure to let ya know! And FINE, but you better not miss too many or I'LL GET YA. You also better WIN, 'cuz you're the only one of us in Quidditch, since West didn't wanna join and all!!!

Don't take it that way, Gil. But you are right in that they shouldn't if they are spineless.

Yes, tell me, and I'll try to be there as often as I can. As I said, I wouldn't want to miss it, since I really do need more practical experience, and this will prove to be a good way to get it.

I'll do my best to win. I'm aiming for a beater position instead of a chaser like last year. I think I have a good chance at making it, since I was a great beater back in Durmstrang. However, I will try to practice a bit more before the tryouts next week - best to practice whenever I can to get the position I want, right?

They shouldn't be spineless at ALL, yeah.

YEAH SURE THING. Of course, I'M NOT GOING EASY ON THESE BRATS. Or you, or West, either!!!

Hey, just like me! What, trying to be like your big cousin, Fang? SHOULD I BE FLATTERED OR CREEPED OUT. HAH, but yeah you can totally get that position, I've seen ya play! And you can never have too much practice, YEAH

I wouldn't expect any less from you, cousin. If you went easy on us both, that just wouldn't do, right? You wouldn't want us to become soft at all, I know that.

I'd rather you be flattered, honestly. I'm not someone creepy, and I just love the sport, and I'd rather have some fun with it before I have to go out into the world and get the job I want to get. But yes, practise makes perfect, and I intend to do a whole lot of that once I make the team. Got to win the House cup and all.

EXACTLY. In fact, I expect ya both to be the best there.

Heh, I was joking, Princeß, lighten up. 'Course I'm flattered! I know you'll go be the best damn beater at Hogwarts out there. I look forward to see who wins the Cup though; you or Ludwig? YOU TWO BETTER NOT GO EASY ON EACH OTHER, EITHER.

I'll do my share, and I know that Ludwig will do his best as well.

[It irked him that you called him that, YET AGAIN.]

Fang, call me Fang, I don't mind you calling me that, Gil. Please, stick with Fang. But yes, I'll be the best - I've got my pride, and my abilities on the line every time I play. No way am I going to go into a game without a fight.

Nothing wrong with a bit of friendly competition, even if it's between family members, cousin~

Good! Looking forward to it!

[gil is actually laughing over this, but--]

Fine, fine, Fang. At least you're not like West, going all "that's not proper, professor, yadda yadda i'm so proper and shit". AND THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR-- UH, READ, whatever! I'll be going to all your games, and dragging West along!

HAH. 'Course not, cousin. Can't wait to see who wins. I feel like we should have a wager on this.

If he wants to be proper, let him. He is a prefect now, and he has to show authority figures respect. I'll admit though that in class, I will refer to you as 'sir.' But outside of class, you're my cousin and I'll call you Gil all I want. I'll be expecting to see you there, and I hope you'll cheer me and my team on, even if Ludwig's in Ravenclaw, and I have to play against his house team, alright?

Oh? What would you like to wager~?

I know, I know! I'm calling him Ludwig-- WELL, sometimes. I'm trying. And sure, whatever, you go on and be proper too. It's not like EVERYONE ELSE isn't. What's with Hogwarts students and being so proper?? ANYWAY, I'll be there for sure, and damn right I'll cheer ya on! Who cares if Ravenclaw's playing, West isn't on the team so whatever.

Dunno. I feel like I should beat on West because you know he won't. What would ya like if you win?

Good, on all counts.

Hmm... I don't know. Maybe just the latest and fasted broom there is available at the end of the school year?

Sure, ya got it! But if ya lose you have to wear a tiara, pink dress, heels, MAKE UP, and walk around like that for an entire day, with a sign that says "I'm Gilbert Beilschmidt's Princeß, and I lost a bet to him".

[The prospect is something that he does NOT like. But he also doesn't want to get teased in perpetuity by his cousin...]

Fine, but you better damn well make sure you get the most expensive broom with all the goods if I win!

So, it's a deal.

[SUCCESS!!! His cousin knows him well. Either way it's win/win for Gilbert, kind of!!!]

SURE THING! IT'S A DEAL THEN.
