As a professor, I would think it unprofessional of you to use such profanities when posting something for the students, sir

Otherwise, I'll be joining.

YEAH WELL, I don't see a reason to pretend to be someone I'm not for my students, Your Head Boy-ness

OH? I'LL BE SEEING YA THERE, THEN. Looking forward to seeing what ya got!

I think the headmaster might have something to say about that, if he ever read this post, but I'll leave the matter be.

Yeah, fancy that, me actually wanting to be a part of this club~ I'll be seeing you there then, professor.

Nah, Dumbledore is cool. He hasn't said anything yet anyway so [he shrugged, but you can't see]

I CAN'T IMAGINE ANYONE NOT WANTING TO JOIN, but yeah, awesome I guess! There'll be no sleeping allowed here, either, though. SEE YA THERE, BRING YOUR BEST

There are some people, but that would be because they have their reasons. Then again, I have my reasons for wanting to join as well.

Mm, I know that - it would sort of defeat the purpose of my wanting to join a club in the first place, sir~

I GUESS. [and he admits this very begrudgingly] But I still think the more awesome people will join Dueling Club. And what reasons?

Making sure, brat! You'll all be kept too busy to sleep, anyway!

Then this would automatically mean that I am one of "the more awesome people," as you put it, since I am going to be joining the Dueling Club. Hm, does that change what you think of me, sir? Would this make me, as you say, "awesome"?

I was thinking that it would be interesting to join this class, and learn some offensive spells, and potential offensive uses of the spells I already know, and actually use them. Besides, learning some dueling etiquette would behoove me as well.

Oh, I know sir. I'm hoping that you'll manage to make things interesting enough for all of the club members, sir.

[INK BLOT] WELL, BRAT, I NEVER THOUGHT YOU WEREN'T AWESOME. I just thought you were an obnoxious brat who fell asleep in my class. As long as you don't do that anymore, you can go be fully awesome.

WELL, you're learning all that. Even the etiquette I guess, even if I think it's totally unnecessary and ruins the element of surprise. There is no time for manners in a BATTLE.

Oh, don't worry, I'll make things interesting alright, kid.

You seem to be a rather interesting sort of person, so no, you won't see me take a nap in your class, sir. Sorry to have offended you, however.

Mm, maybe you can have an introduction to formal dueling, and then maybe have different settings of different situations later on? Just a suggestion, coming from someone that is planning to join the club, sir.

EXCELLENT, we have an understanding then! Eh, don't sweat it. Thanks to ya your classmates know better than to sleep in my class now, anyway.

HEY, that's a great idea! Guess you're Head Boy for a reason, huh! I think I might do just that, but we're focusing more on real danger scenarios; I want this class to help you brats out, after all!

[Oh, he dislikes you there for a moment, but will IGNORE the first part of your reply. Mr. Man]

Just something I came up with when I thought about what you said, sir. But yes, if you want something as close to real-danger scenarios, it would help what with those attacks that we've had in the past, sir, to prepare us for what might yet come.

Attacks, huh. Yeah I heard about those, nothing too explicit though but yeah... I think I'll also show ya guys things to do in case ya get caught without a wand. You kids should be able to defend yourselves without them, too. Specially seeing how things are getting more and more serious and all.

I was in the middle of one, so I can say that I definitely need some more experience. Not sure if you heard of the one back at the Ministry last spring?

[Of COURSE he should have heard it. It was BIG. Deaths and all. Even of some students. Sadtimes overall.]

Though I am capable of defending myself with some martial arts, but it's not the same when someone else has a wand at the ready so far away.

But if you have anything to help with that, I'm more than willing to learn.

Oh yeah, I definitely heard of THAT. It was all over. Shit, you were there?

[Gilbert is now kinda very impressed.]

Yeah, I get ya. There is a distance disadvantage. I've thought of ways to counter this, like sharpening reflexes to the point were you can DODGE INSTANTLY, and carrying charmed items with ya. You can be damn sure we'll go over the best ways at the club, yeah.

Yes, I was. It was rather... horrible, that. I don't know why they would attack defenseless students, but they did. I was attacked myself, so I'm quite glad to be alive at all.

I had to stay at St. Mungo's for a while, but I got out after a while. Just had to take several of those potions that replenishes blood.

[Survivor? Yes. He just won't say how badly he was injured. Or how he was injured. For the time being.]

Mm, I guess that would be interesting to try all that out. I shall be looking forward to all of that, sir.

Because they're Death Eaters. They're cowards that would attack unarmed students, just to win a war they've created because of their stupid ideas.

Shit, kid, sounds pretty serious. Also sounds like you were incredibly lucky to come out of that alive.

[He won't push, because he DOES realize how those experiences affect people. If there's a thing he really respects it's battle.]

YEAH! And we'll find the most effective method, too, I guarantee it!
