[Hiccup kept himself busy during the blackout with some projects--one of which is sitting in front of Soul's door this morning, wrapped in a thick piece of paper with a short note (that, unfortunately, is in Viking runes oops).
The object inside the paper is carved from wood, which you may or may not deduce, and polished with oils and wax that leave it glossy and smooth like ivory. It looks similar to the picture of a soul that Hiccup was shown days ago. A thick leather cord runs through it--it's a necklace that can be hung up just about anywhere!]
