[Lauren has come back into the common room after having to go clean up after the pie incident just as the howler starts shouting. Yeah, her eyebrows are going to her hairline here. And once it bursts into flames she just stares for a moment--she can almost swear her ears are ringing]

Nah. [sticks her hands in the pockets of her robes] Parents are both muggles. They don't know how to send the screaming ones. [she paused for a moment, rocking back on her heals] They did send me a huge long letter, though.

My brother does all their correspondence. Anything they want to tell me, he's the one that gets roped into it.
