[It's been a little over a week since he came to Luceti, and he was coping--he was even getting used to the wings. That afternoon, Kid decided to take a walk around the village in order to acquaint himself with the different shops and such.

The first thing he notices is the robot walking by. That was unusual, even for someone who was close pals with a zombie.

He was about to shrug and continue moving; then his eyes happen to drop to the smaller person next to it. The recognition wasn't immediate, but something about the child gives Kid a weird feeling. Like his brain was trying to chain something together, but was missing an important link. He goes over their appearance: there was a mess of pink hair, and for some reason they were wrapped in bandages like a late Halloween costume. Nothing was significant there, but...

The sword.

He stops immediately and turns, his fingers curling inside his pockets.]

Wait.

[By reaction, Crona stops mid-step and...waits.

But asking for a little kid to wait too long without doing too much, is asking for to much, so if you care to notice. All that attention is at your hair, and maybe some random skulls every now and then.

You're dressed a bit odd there, you know.]

Crona? You stopped.

[He's saying this more as a statement than a question, of course.]

[And you're much smaller and more precious than he remembers you. That's why Kid can't entirely process what he's looking at until the robot addresses the child by name--and he snaps back into focus.] Crona.

[There's a lot he wants to say, has wanted to say since Crona vanished from Shibusen, but it doesn't take a genius to notice the look of incomprehension on his face...he doesn't even seem to know who he is. He frowns at this.] Did the Malnosso do this to you, Crona? What happened to you?

[And he seems...pretty sure about this fact. Nothing really has happened to him, so why would you ask if something had?]

Ah, you know the child! This is good, then perhaps you know where Crona's mother is... We've been searching for a while now, she goes by the name Medusa.

[He does his best not to physically react to Medusa's name, straightening his posture and turning to face the robot. But his voice is pensive--and a little hesitant with Crona standing right there--when he responds.]

I know her...but you're not going to find her here. [He wasn't sure if Medusa was in Luceti or not, but his answer still stood: Kid doesn't peg her as the type to be found. If she wanted to, she would find them.]

...Crona is from my world, I think it would be best if I take him home.

Only if it is alright with Crona, of course.

...I don't know.. [He had to think for a while if he even wanted to stay with No, and now someone from his world found him, and he doesn't know who they are...]

[Part of him expected as much. Kid lets out a long breath, and his shoulders sag a little bit.] Well I'm not going to force you to come with me. I told you once already: there's no rush, and nobody is going to run away.

If you do decide to come back, Liz and Soul are at House 59. You can call us if you need anything. [On that he looks at the robot again, silently assessing if it was really safe to go.]

[All of this is just too much to think about at once. He wasn't expecting anybody to know who he was besides his mom..]
