Happenings from My Life

So the week before last, I went to a belly dance class on a different day (oh yeah, did I mention I'm taking belly dancing?...I don't remember). The instructor turned out to be a girl that I went to middle school with. I don't know that she recognized me, as we didn't really hang out in the same circles. She was more the everyone-knows-her-and-didn't-know-anyone type. She's actually the kind of girl that when you run in to, you kind of want to say, "Haha my life is better than yours." But given the scenario - she was in the magnet dance program and *I* was learning to dance - that wasn't going to happen. Instead I told myself that my boobs are bigger than hers (ever so slightly, but still).

Almost 2 weeks ago Alex and I attended the John Mayer concert in WPB aka BFE. It was fun. We left with a few fun stories:
1. When we parked, some random drunk guy decided to pee in front of the car next to us. We shielded our eyes.

2. I shouted, "I want to have your babies!" when John Mayer came out. A seven or so year old girl was seated behind us with her dad.

3. I got a little sick during the show so I wasn't able to relax and enjoy as much as I would have liked.

4. We bumped into Amarylis. And she told us that people gave her condoms. (Note: Amarylis looks like she's 12.)

5. It took Alex and I over a half hour to find the car. Fortunately, we left early (when Sheryl Crow's set started) so we still managed to avoid traffic and get home at decent hour on a weeknight.

Oh yeah, and I gave a rather amusing recap of the previous week's Grey's Anatomy on the drive up. I'd post pictures, but they came out a bit on the blurry side.

As some of you may be aware, my office has been on the verge of moving for the past year and a half. Well, it's finally happening. As of December 1 we're moving from downtown Coral Gables to South Miami! I'll actually get to sleep in until 7 on weekdays! w00t! My commute will likely be cut in half. ::happy dance::

I believe that's all folks. Actually, no it's not. This past weekend I found a missing half to one of my favorite earrings. I was much excited. I also watched quite a bit of TLC - Clean Sweep and While You Were Out in particular.

Now that's all!

music, little things, exercise, friends, tv, work
