A Proper Update

For starters, I finished HP6 at 12:30 AM today. Holy crap is all I have to say! (And that's a positive.) My mind is spinning with thoughts and ideas about HP7. Now I understand the posts that requested people to call to converse about the book! On the one hand, I can't wait for it. But at the same time, I can because it'll be the last one. :( Once I get through some of the other books gathering dust on my nightstand, I plan on reading the whole series, calmly, start to finish. And I will be looking out for hints at the final book. Though I doubt I'll guess right (and it's more fun if I guess wrong anyway). It may not be too long of a wait though; in an interview with Katie Couric, J.K. said that she has already begun writing the 7th book.

Man, I wish that world were real. And I wish I could be part of it. Alas, I am a mere muggle.

Well, the surgery is officially postponed until October 21. The Bramitzvah will be postponed until sometime around then. I guess I should probably send out an e-mail since some people don't read LJ and I don't talk with many people regularly. Though I was throughly disappointed when I initially made the decision to postpone, I am quite happy with it now. It was very much the right decision.

IT has begun once again. IT being my mom being extra pissy because the customer service position is once again open at Minuteman. And she pretty much pities anyone who takes the job. It's understandable how she feels, but that doesn't stop it from being annoying.

I am quite special, as you all should know. And not the everyone is unique kinda special. No, the wear a helmet sort. This morning on my way to work, I heard a noise that sounded like something was clinking up against my car. At first I was worried, but then it stopped and I forgot about it. When I went down to the garage to come home, I noticed that my cellphone headset was partially out of the car. I laughed at myself for not having noticed it falling when I arrived this morning. But I quickly realized that my headset was the culprit of the clinking sound on my car. Needless to say, my headset is fucked. Oh well. At least I have a mildly amusing story to tell.

minuteman, harry potter, funny story, idiocy, surgery
