Group Projects SUCK
I hate group projects. I have one in 4/5 classes this semester. I currently hate them because of my debate class. We're partnered up in that class to work on evidence, cases, etc. We have a case draft due on Tuesday. Today we had a test. After class on Tuesday, my partner and I talked and due to both of us having many tests Monday and Tuesday, we decided we would meet today after class to work on it. Which would have been perfect, because I have a meeting at 8 pm. She finished the test before I did. When I left (not longer after her), I looked for her around the SOC courtyard. No sign of her. So I called her cell. Got a recording that says that per the owner's request, her phone doesn't receive incoming calls. So I went to the library and e-mailed her. I didn't attack her or say where the hell were you or anything. But I thought that my asking when she wanted to get together and work would have prompted some sort of "Oops! Sorry I forgot" or whatever sort of comment. Nope. She just replies that she has the same test situation as I do (uh, duh, we talked about that on Tuesday) and that she was going to e-mail the professor.
So, I have now spent about 3 hours wasting time. I don't have other schoolwork to do because I anticipated working on this assignment for several hours. Thus I didn't bring additional work. SO, my weekend will be even more consumed by school work that I don't want to do. UGH! I'm so glad that celebrating Corey and Mimi's birthdays tomorrow involve alcohol.
