alright so i finally have my compuuter back with the internet and everything. my mom fixed it for me this morning. woo hoo. alright so i went on a cruise right. i wrote about every single day that i was there. don't read if you don't want to. it's long but it's good times. lol.
So I’m sitting here waiting for my brother to take a shower and I thought I’d write a little bit on my comp and then later on post it up. Let us see…
SUNDAY
We left sort of early in the morning….whenever my mom thought that she was ready…like 12 instead of what it was supposed to be…like 8…lol. Anyway, so we left and got on the road and I slept and read and made my own little bed with my own little blanket and my own little pillow and everything. We made a couple of stops but not too many….FINALLY got to ft. Lauderdale at like 10 or 10:30 and stayed at this really really cheap best western, but I guess it was alright. My mommy got me some chicken noodle soup and we went to bed.
MONDAY
Hmm, we had to check out sort of early, so we left and got on the way to the cruise. We got there pretty early I guess, considering that the gates opened at like 12:00 and we got there at like 12:30. so we didn’t even have to wait in line for that long. Mom signed a permission slip saying since I was 18 I could drink alcohol even though the drinking age in the us is obviously 21. that’s cool I guess. It’s Tuesday…still haven’t taken advantage of that. I don’t really want to I guess. Don’t see the need. Maybe a corona or a pina colada. I tried calling clayton as we were taking off, but his phone was off. I was gonna try to call my homegirl, but then phone had already lost signal since she ship had already sailed. Let’s see….my mom and I layed out a little bit, but in our clothes in the shade just to take a little nap. Then we all got ready for the little show that they had on for us. It was soo funny. This really funny comedian guy who’s been on jay leno and opened for jerry Seinfeld and stuff was there. Good stuff. Had some yummy dinner. That was cool. Good. Good desert. Then my brother and I went around for a long long time. Found this little ‘teen’ club thing. So lame….bunch of like…middle schoolers and I guess some high schoolers sitting around all far away from each other and stuff. I did see this one extremely fine guy on the cruise. Wow. Very very impressive. Only a couple of them on here though. Haven’t taked to any. Woo for anna. Omgosh though….the cruise is AMAZING I’m gonna put the pictures up and stuff, but oh lord, is it huuuuge. You can see it from a million miles away. Wow, and it’s so pretty. Much prettier than the one that I went on before and so much nicer. So many more things to do, so much more stylish. And I was actually really impressed with my dad, we have 2 separate rooms, and they’re on the 7th floor. Which is impressive for my cheap dad. Not cheap. I’m happy. Food’s good.
TUESDAY
Hmm, we arrived at key west at like 7:00 this morning. I only got out at like 9;30 though, just cause I had breakfast with mom and stuff. Such a touristy town. So cute though. My mom and I took a tour of the whole town for like an hour and a half while my dad and my brother rented like those…..vespa, scooter, motorcycle things. We actually saw them riding around town at the end of our tour so it worked out very nicely. And my mom and I went walking around duval st…which I guess is the main street of the town. I loved it though. Such a calming place, nice shades, lots of trees, lots of nice nice architecture, which of course was all explained to me. nice people, but sooo touristy, every other store is one of those stores that sells those……one tequila, two tequila, three tequila floor! Shirts…or those…..key west booty shorts, or just something very much the same as the store before. My mom and I were gonna get matching henna tattoos, but we ended up not doing it since we got separated at the end. I got a cute little key chain. Did you know that key west is the southernmost part of the united states? And…that it’s closer to cuba than it is to the mainland. Which is fun I guess. 90 miles to cuba and I don’t’ know how many to the main land. Then we headed back. I tried calling clayton again on our way to lunch but his phone was still off, a bit weird I thought since it’s most of the time on. Wtv. And then we all went to lunch together, nice little dinner. We’ve started praying before each one of our meals, something I do actually enjoy to tell you the truth…something we used to do while in brazil, lost it when we came to the us and then picked it up again when we started going to church and my mom started meeting with her little married life church group thing. Then I tanned for like 2 hours. Not quite as much as I would have liked, but def happy about it. Woot, and then I got my hair wet. Actually, I don’t’ want to talk about my hair at all. Anyway, I gotta go get ready for some formal dinner thing that we’re having now. How exciting eh?
Alright alright. So the dinner was really cute, I wore my red white and black spanishy skirt and my brother and my dad had to rent a tux or a jacket thing since they didn’t pack anything nice to wear to the captain’s dinner. It was really cute though….we all played uno together before going down to dinner. it was fun, it was cute, and my mom cheated the whole way, my brother technically won, but we kept on playing after that. We went downtairs and took some cute pictures I guess and then finally went to dinner. yummy food once again….that’s all paid for. We took more pictures during dinner and that was fun. ……………. Lol. Then after dinner we went straight to the little show that they had. It was like some beatles cover band. But it was real cuteeee. I had fun. Everybody was getting up and dancing, even the little old couples who are soo cute…..and I love all the beatles songs, I was having fun singing along to all of the songs. La la la. Right after that the comedy guy from Monday night came back to do an ‘adult show’ omg. Soooo funny. Me and my brother were like down on the floor laughing. Wow, couldn’t get enough of it.
WEDNESDAY
Woken up by my dad calling the room at like freaking 8:00 in the morning cause he thought it was actually 9:00. right ok. So then I hung around the room for a little bit and finally went to breakfast and met mommy and daddy there. Watched the ship being docked at cozumel, mexico, and we got off as soon as the ship was cleared. Huuuge line to get a taxi, but we shared one and got to downtown…….no joke….every other store is a freaking jewelry store.lord! it is ridiculous how many of them there are. I got a white necklace that I’ve wanted for a while. But then my mom got really really sick and like was sweating cold and couldn’t walk or anything. So we were pretty much forced to go to the ship. But right before we did I went into the water, omgsh, it’s the most clear, most beautiful, most calming water I’ve ever seen. So right we go back to the ship and my mom takes her medicine and sleeps for like 2 hours while I try to tan. I decide fuck it, I’m in freaking cozumel, and I’m not freaking staying here, not getting anything and not buying some tequila. So I write my mom a note teling her that I left the ship and went shopping in this place right. Well I’m walking around for a while about to actually buy my mom something and then she found me. it was exciting and I didn’t have to be alone anymore so that was cool I guess. Hmmm, I got me a silver necklace, my mommy got her a mayan pendant, and huge diamond earings which I really don’t like…I got some souvenirs. And I got a HUGE tequila bottle all on my own. Ya I know…not really a big deal right, but it was cool to do it on my own you know…legally be buying some alcohol.right so it’s supposedly the strongest tequila that they have..real pretty bottle too. Then I went back to the ship and tanned for a while with my brother and then jumped for a little bit in the salty salty pool that made me feel like my face was burning. Hmm, then I got all nice and ready for the next show…sweet dreams. That was cute, good dancing, really skinny girls (which my brother really likes and who actually don’t’ really make me feel good about myself, especially when my brother’s around. Right so we watched that…went to dinner, had the waiters dance and then we all did the Macarena. I was so happy. I was like, wow, cruise really was worth it, really is such a fun time, such a bonding experience for me and my family I guess, and I’ve had so much fun so far. Just everything, the food’s good, the people are nice, the waiters know you, the people that make up your room know you and make elephants out of your towels. I’ve just really been enjoying myself. And been bonding with my brother, my mom and my dad. So right. After dinner we all went to this love and marriage game show, it was really funny too. A couple went up there that had been married for 50 years, 2 days and 9 hours. Omsh they were just sooo cute. They knew everything about each other, described their sex life as ‘superman’ just the cutest thing. That’s what I want, wheni get married I want it to be for a long long time, and I want to be that couple who still loves each other after being married for 50 years and who everbody cheers for. Ya alright.
THURSDAY
Got to belize like early early in the morning. My brother and I went to go have breakfast and found my mom and my dad there. The boat wasn’t ‘parked’ at a dock because of the fact that the water was too shallow so we had to take a boat to Belize City. Got there and it was sort of muddy cause it had been raining before. Whatever right…and then we went around to all the little touristy shops and stuff and finally got to the exit and we tried leaving. ………..as soon as we did, because the people aren’t allowed to go into the little station, we were like SWARMED with people wanting to take us on city tours and to the zoo and to all these places that we didn’t want to go to. The only thing we wanted to do (cave tubing) had been cancelled because of the rain. One guy even followed us all the way down the street till my mom got fed up with him and sent him away. It was a crappy day, we didn’t want to go on any city tours and the city in general just wasn’t very appealing. So we left. Finally took the pictures of the boat that I wanted and we met a really really nice Colombian family. I’m not sure what we did after that, I think I tried laying out, ya….me and my mom did but then it started raining so we went into our rooms. I didn’t think the sun was gonna come out again, but apparently it did and I missed it. I took a shower and went to go see the hill brothers or something. It was like this cool funny juggling guy. Family more like it, there was the old funny guy (more like 30s) the amazing thirteen year old who could juggle 7 balls at the same time and then the two extremely hot twins who knew how to dance and juggle. Wow. Great arms. Then we went to dinner and it was italilan night. All the waiters sang for us and everything. Hehe, the o sole mio song. It was so cute. I’ll really put the pictures up later. That was it for that day.
FRIDAY
Hmm, got up kinda late since we were gonna be at sea the entire day. So anywho, my brother and I went to breakfast by ourselves again and ended up finding my mom and dad once again. That was at like 11. directly after that I went tanning. It was sooo windy at the beginning I really think I could have fallen off. Or a little kid. It was ridiculously windy. Then again I was at pretty much the highest that the decks go. Who cares. So I layed out from like 11 till like 5 and I am DEFINITELY paying for that right now. I can’t move my legs because the back of my knees and severely burned. My face hurts, my legs hurts, when I put my clothes on it hurts, it’s ridiculous, but I’m like BLACK. Or, not as tan as joana was when she came back fro m Puerto rico, but def the most tan I’ve been in a long time. Alright so after that got to the little show, that was fun, I wasn’t impressed at all though. The songs were alright, but it just wans’t a good show. “Can’t stop the rock” then dinner and all gave the waiters a standing ovation which was again very very cute. Then I went back to my room and watched the hurricane by myself while my brother was out. Woo hoo. He went to go get himself some booty. Lol.
SATURDAY
Had breakfast and then left when our color tags were called. Had so much trouble with custom.s ok…so my dad only claimed like $200, so the people at customs were obviously suspicious. So what they did was make us spend like 20-25 minutes looking through all of my dad’s receipts and through his wallet and through his briefcase and through my mom’s stuff trying to count up what they had bought. It was getting ridiculous what they were doing. The line started getting long so the guy finally let us go. Plus at the very beginning the other lady whispered (we think) that their boss was watching so they really had to do a good job. We don’t know. Maybe we are just some really sketchy Brazilians with parents with an extremely strong accent. I don’t’ know. So we left and went to Miami. It took like 20 minutes to get there, I thought it would be at least an hour. Checked into the hotel and our parents left. But my brother and I got hungry so we left walking to coconut grove. It wasn’t far at all. Took I guess like 10 minutes walking. It was amazing. So me and my brother went shopping. He only got a shirt from nike and I got 2 pairs of shoes a white skirt and a green poncho thing which is so cute. We had lunch at the cheesecake factory and neither one of us finished what we were eating. It was cute though, we went to border’s together and just sat there for like 45 minutes reading magazines and such. It was a fun time. Then right after that we went to go see anchorman together. It was pretty funny I guess. I did like it. Christina applegate is real hot. Hmm, then we walked back to the hotel because we didn’t want to be walking back in the dark….don’t really knkow where my parents are right now.
I came back sunday night. fun times fun times.
